In addition to our current infection control protocols, you may see some new processes when it is time for your next appointment. These changes are important for protecting our staff and patients.
- - You will be contacted 1 hour before your appointment (via mobile text message, if on file) to fill out an online COVID screening questionnaire https://yapi.me/co?m=gs1bh815pv5uvs .
- - You will be asked to arrive 10 minutes early to every appointment. Your car will be the new "virtual reception room". Please call or text us when you arrive and we will let you know when it is time to come into the office front door. The waiting room will be closed at this time for patient use to help with social distancing.
- - Please do not use the side door for entry, that will be designated as "exit only"
- - We ask you to please arrive at the office with a mask and use hand sanitizer. You will also find hand sanitizer in the reception area and other places throughout the office for you to use as needed.
- - Your temperature will be taken before entering the office with a no-touch forehead thermometer
- - You may notice that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children's books and other items that are difficult to clean.
- - Plexiglass barriers are placed in the reception area
- - Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you're offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment, as we will be seeing less patients in a day
- - We will be using disposable gowns, surgical caps and face shields to protect ourselves
- - We have added HEPA 13 air purification units to each treatment room, reception area, and waiting area that will be turning over air every 8 minutes
- - We will be fogging rooms with hypochlorous acid between patients, in addition to our usual wipe down with Cavicide wipes https://youtu.be/DaRLCIfT1Ko
- - We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception/check out area at any one time.
Most of all, thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back to our office.
Sincerely,
Dr. Collins, Dr. Mingrone, and Team
